Learn to use simple shapes to create intricate Mandala drawings.

The Mandala is a ubiquitous symbol of wholeness, encouraging “the inward journey” to achieve a higher mental, emotional and spiritual state. It has been adopted by cultures around the world in many different periods up to the present as its relevance endures.

Today, the making of mandalas is a practice commonly embraced as a mindful art practice to heal from stress, support a calm state of mind and well-being as well as to connect to one’s own creative source.

Come and give yourself a well-deserved break from your never-ending list of adulting responsibilities and nourish your creative spirit. You don’t need any drawing experience or skills to create beautiful mandalas.

We will use simple shapes and embrace a non-judgmental, “let your mind and hand flow” approach. Join us for a relaxing morning from which you will leave with a beautiful Mandala-decorated journal, or more, and a peaceful state of mind.

About the Artist:

Mirina is a visual artist with a background in fashion, jewelry design and photography. She has returned to her first love of creating art for art’s sake and works in a variety of mediums. Currently, she is drawn to the simplicity of working with the humble sheet of paper and negative space. What is revealed in that space can be as interesting as the cuts themselves, and the process of making the cuts as meaningful as the finished piece. She finds inspiration in the natural world and hopes to celebrate its beauty and wonder in her art.
