The large-scale works for ‘Portal’ are such examples, from the vivid hues of oil to the flowing qualities of watercolor as a way to further enhance the quintessential characteristics of her style.

In an accumulation of abstract, figurative, and surrealist forms Freeman creates a world of her own which she invited her audience to peer into. In her vision, landscapes inhabited with scenes of flora and fauna traverse to a transient state, becoming altered to the point where the familiar becomes unfamiliar.
