Perfume Making + Drawing Glass

$150Scent, sip, sketch – a perfume making and drawing workshop! In this 2-part workshop, you’ll create a custom perfume in a sparkly keepsake perfume bottle, sip on something bubbly and then create an art piece featuring your shiny perfume bottle! While we would love to have you for the full experience (2 workshops plus nibbles and sips), you can also book the workshops a la carte.
Part 1 – Perfume Making
10 – 11:30 AM
In this workshop, you will create a custom fragrance and select a unique, sparkly keepsake bottle for your creation!
We’ll start with a Perfume Making 101 and discuss some basic principles of creating a perfume (and decide which rules we will break!). Then, I will guide you through the selection and blending of your personal, custom perfume. Whether you love ultra-feminine florals or prefer something more masculine, this workshop is the perfect way to experiment and discover what scents suit you best!
Nibbles & Sips
Break 11:30 – 12:30
Light bites, sparkly sips and coffee or tea as we prepare for part 2 of your workshop experience. You also have the option to pop out for a bite near the studio!
Part 2 – Drawing Glassware with Colored Pencils
12:30 – 2 PM
It’s your time to shine! In this beginner friendly class, we’ll talk about how to easily draw sparkly, reflective glassware (like perfume bottles!) using colored pencils. Not sure of your sketching abilities? No worries! Optional tracing templates will be provided for those who wish to use them.
You’ll learn how to simplify complicated subjects, resulting in a drawing that’s realistic and luminous. By the end of this class, you’ll have new foundational tools to help you with future artworks as well as a drawing you love!
All materials will be provided.
